GLABELLA

• Superficial to avoid associated arteries
• Keep needle in dermis, no deeper
• Microdroplet technique as opposed to Linea
• Linea possible with the needle bevel up and continual aspiration

FOREHEAD

• Combine Botox and filler techniques
• Re-volumise under the muscle via cannula angled at 90 degrees
• Most arteries should be above cannula at this position
• Avoid any injections above the midpoint with filler as small blood vessels here serve as branches of the orbital vessels
• Always aspirate, even with cannula
• If needle technique is adopted inject deep onto periosteum from midway up the forehead and very superficially in the dermis when injecting below this point.

NOSE

• Bridge, tip and saddle most dangerous injecting sites
• Cannula harder to use as not as much space
• Angle bevel of needle down and touch periosteum
• Aspirate
• Place small boluses
• Inject more than 0.05ml per injection
