Bruising to any degree can be both traumatic and at the least, inconvenient to patients, something that appears relatively small to you may feel like a big deal to your patient. Remember it requires a story or justification, something they may not feel comfortable doing. If you know a bruise is expected after the procedure, explain this to them, advise how long its expected to take to heal, larger more traumatic bruises can take up to six weeks to resolve completely, manage their post procedural expectations and advise how you can avoid the same happening at their next visit. This will hopefully enable you to retain their custom and restore faith in your ability as their injector.
