Irrespective of how many times you have carried out a procedure, the risk should be perceived the same as if it was the first time. Experience does not excuse for complacency. When you equip yourself with the tools and knowledge to perform you job to the highest of standards you can ultimately make very positive impact on your patients’ confidence and lives, a very rewarding position to be in, that should not be taken for granted or abused.
